LEAP into the unexpected with this playful acrobatic show, as these two performers revel in performing the biggest tricks they can! In a show that is both fearless and tender, these friends explore the limits of what is possible when you ask the question “If I Leap, Will You Catch Me?”

Reuben leaps high into into the air and only Charmaine can stop him hitting the ground! She lifts him overhead and catches him as he leaps at her from every angle. In a final test of trust and strength, Reuben climbs up and around a 5m pole held off the ground by Charmaine. He balances on top with a backdrop of only sky, before a final LEAP of faith… The Perch is a rare and breathtaking discipline, made only more so by the surprise of having a lady at it’s base.

This show is a collaboration between Strong Lady Productions and Reuben DotDotDot.

Both have well established solo shows that have been praised for having a
powerful mix of strength and grace – this is the foundation that LEAP was built on. This show has no talking and no audience participation, making it very easy to perform in countries all around the world. It is an honest & interactive show, with the connection between audience and performers always strong. The show is playful and uplifting, easily accessible to audiences of all ages and from all walks of life. OUTDOOR ARTS FESTIVALS

This show was created for outdoor arts and street theatre festivals. LEAP was first performed in a Swiss festival in 2014 and had it’s premiere tour in 2015. It has toured through festivals in Australia, the UK and throughout Europe. It does not use language or audience participation, so can travel easily to festivals anywhere around the world.

If you only need shorter acts, then we have two spectacular acts: ‘Sad Man’ (a hand-­‐to-­‐hand acrobatic act) and ‘Perch’ (a perch act that also includes hand-­‐to-­‐hand acrobatics). It is also possible to combine these acts with solo acts from each performer. Reuben offers hand balance or Chinese pole acts. Charmaine offers a Strong Lady act.
